Meet Mrs. Rawls
I received a Bachelor's degree from Appalachian State University in Elementary Education with a concentration in Psychology in December of 2002. This is my 20th year teaching! I taught kindergarten for fifteen years and this is my fifth year teaching first grade.
I am married and have three children. My daughters are ten and eight. My son is six. We just added a poodle puppy to our family so things are very busy at our house! When I am not working I enjoy being with my family and stay active at my church!
I have a passion for teaching children and I love to watch my students learn and grow! I believe that parent -teacher communication is important as we work together for the success of each child!
